müssen es unbedingt englische texte sein?
hab da nämlich auch ne menge deutsche, ok, manche kann man vom lesen her nich ahnen dass es "traurige" texte sind, aber der track dazu, und die art wie man es ausspricht, ist schon sehr traurig...

Noch jemand, der Tom McRae kennt!!! Ich glaub es nicht!!! Wie gesagt, von ihm könnte man eigentlich alles hier posten!

Der Track von Lenny Kravitz ist wirklich grandios. Gibt da noch einige, die ich hinzufügen würde, aber um nicht exzessives Posting zu betreiben, nenne ich nur mal die Titel: Can't Get You Off My Mind, Circus und Resurrection. Die passenden Lyrics gibts im Netz.

Mir gefallen auch die Lyrics von Tori Amos, bsw. ist Boys for Pelé ein absolutes Meisterwerk. Da reicht die Textpalette von traurig bis gesellschafts-/sozialkritisch.

Vom reinen Herzschmerzstandpunkt geht aber nichts über Coldplay. Ich finde die Songs in dieser Hinsicht beinahe schon gefährlich.

@ Marp Colorblind ist echt ein schöner Track zum Depri sein oder zum entspannen oder einfach nur um über was nach zu denken.

Mein momentaner Favorit ist "Way Out West - Don't forget Me"
Habe den Track letztens bei der Serie "Grey's Anatomy" gehört fand den einfacj nur süperschön gibt davon auch nen supergeilen Trance Mix von Rilex & Durant.
Kann euch die Serie nur empfehlen is auch meist sehr gefühlvolle Musik dabei von eher unbakannten Bands die es aber drauf haben.

Schiller mit Jael - Tired

Spontan fällt mir da zunächst Garbage mit "Milk" ein (Text dürfte evtl. bekannt sein). Auch wenn der Text traurig ist, entfaltet das Lied besonders durch seine Melodie eine melancholische Stimmung.

Bei Deleriums "Just A Dream" hat dagegen eher der Text den gefühlsbetonteren Part, Thema ist hier (wie so häufig) der Liebesschmerz:

Beispiel für einen sehr melancholischen Text finde ich daneben Chicanes "Autumn Tactics", das besonders im Thrillseekers Remix konsequent umgesetzt wird. Hier ist mal nicht eine verflossene Liebe das Thema, sondern das naturbedingte Ende des Sommers (kürzere Tag, fallende Blätter, tiefe Temperaturen). Kein anderer Song erzeugt bei mir so unwillkürlich Herbstgefühle.
